Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX red switches are the go to keyboard of most of the gamers out there. If you don't know much about cherry mx switches then, these are switches(button) on the mechanical keyboard. Cherry MX is not the only brand out these to provide keyboard switches and there are many such as Gateron, Logitech, Kailh and many other brands manufacture their own switches. In fact buying a mechanical keyboard is considerably cheaper than building yourself.   • Users get option to customize the Key Switches, Case and Key caps with a variety of vibrant colors.
  • Requires less space on the desk.
  • Minimalistic in appearance.

Cons.

  • Sourcing the components is a real headache.
  • Assembling, testing and soldering the keyboard is another headache.
  • Most of the Keyboard PCBs available are 60% of a normal keyboard or TKL(Ten Key Less) which of course is a personal choice.
