In 'Content Creation' the word 'content' can not be considered any specific thing or product, in fact content is a term used for wide range of things similar to what digital market is used for various methods of marketing online. A content is a product (digital/physical) which provides knowledge, entertainment or adding value to an Individual. Content Creation is a wider term which often can be used for producing Video, Article, Infographic, Images, Audio files(Podcast/Audio books), Books and etc.So, if you either make videos on YouTube or write articles on blog, you are classified as content creator. In this article we will discuss in brief on the above topic and how beginners can get started.

Some Types of Content Creation and how to get started.

As a I am a blogger and blogging is also considered as a type of content, here is what I think how content is made. So basically there are two aspects of content creation.

1. Information / Message : So the first and foremost requirement of producing a content is the information / message / story / ideas that you want to share to masses. This aspect is very crucial and forms the base for the second aspect.


2. Method of Conveying your Message : Often beginners who aspire to become a content creation are inspired to produce content whether it is YouTube Videos, Instagram post, Memes, Blogs and etc because they find the method being appealing and interactive to consume.

The Golden rule for the method of conveying your message / information is that, If you put more efforts in making the more convenient for consumers then your content will be appreciated or else, if you make your content consumers make efforts to know what you are trying to say for your convenience then your content might not be appreciated by many.

What are the Prerequisites to produce a piece of content.

I have already discussed in brief on the stuff you need to know and have before starting but there are some more to discuss.

1. Figuring out the method, whether it is a blog post, YouTube video, Instagram Post, Facebook post and etc. You need to be clear on which platform you will be working on and have adequate knowledge about it.
2. Devices, such as a Computer / laptop, Mobile, Internet Connection and etc are the also the requirements if you will be publishing your content online. Also you need to know about the devices you will be needing and how to operate them.

How to Make Money out of your Content ?

If you are able to scale your content, then you can make decent amount of money passively after sometime if you are able to monetize it which actually makes the effort worth. There are plenty of ways to monetize your content such as Ads, Sponsorship, Affiliate Marketing, Promoting your own product/ service, charging premium and etc. Also one can monetize his/her content but make sure that people are enjoying your content and your methods of monetization isn't ruining the user experience.

My Suggestions before getting started. 

Agree or not, you have to give your spare efforts, money and time when you start producing content for free in the beginning. It is better suggested that you should not quit stuff such as study or job just for the stuff you like to do. There are uncertainty and risks when you start something different and independently. So be sure to safeguard yourself before starting to produce content.
